SNOW!!!

So we went to the snow on Monday! We were a little worried the weather would get in the way and that it would start snowing on the way home but it was fine. Everyone had fun and Lucy lasted a whole 30 minutes before she decided we needed to let her move around a little and take off some of her wrappings :) We didn't have gloves for her so we put her hands in three layers: socks, plastic bags, and more socks! We did the same thing with her feet with the addition of shoes. She is also sporting a bibb for an 18 month old. (No wonder she wanted out!) After she was free to move her fingers she lasted another half hour before she was all done with the snow for one year.

School

Taylor and I are both attending Sac City College for the moment. I hope to get my AA by the end of this semester and then to transfer to Sac State (at least if they have everything figured out by then, stupid state budget). I'll be finishing up my major in Humanities and Religious Studies :) Taylor is working on his AA as well in Enginering. He will then be transfering to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo for his BA in Architecture, once I get mine at Sac State. Our plan is to move next summer if everything goes smoothly with my degree. Fingers crossed, we'll see. Wish us luck!

Our Family

So here is Taylor and Lucy and I back in August. We went to the mystery spot (oooo) in Santa Cruz. It was so much fun, I highly recomend you check it out. And be open to the possibilities, there was some pretty mysterious stuff up there :)

Here is my little Lucy when she was just 1 month old. She was only 3.3 lbs when she was first born! I think she's about 4.5 pounds in this picture. :)

Intro

So I'm Tessa and I'm just starting this blog as sort of a family journal. Keeping a written journal is next to impossible for me but hopefuly this one will be a little easier to keep up on. :) I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world, his name is Taylor and we have a beautiful baby girl named Lucy, she is almost 10 months old now :) I will be posting pictures and everything later. I'm excited to get started :D
